Good Day Ladies & Gentlemen + Misses & Masters!

​My name is Jem Touch - literally English translated from my native italian name Gemma Tocco since forever but many know me as Jem since I was a teenager, so you choose - : ) 

 

Here, I disclose some fun facts about my life and free spirit essence, in bullet points:

 

- I am a Made in Italy serial dreamer.

​

- I was born right in the middle of a very  powerful summer storm, on a “Paradisland” -Sardinia- ️.

​

- I lived in different places and had 5 significant years in Sydney, Australia. 

 

- I currently reside in both Cornwall, UK and Italy, and I Love it! 

​

- My next travel destination will be…Uhm, who knows yet!  We’ll see, I’ll keep you posted on my Blog.

 

- I love finding beauty and wonders in simple things, still I explore complexity and tend to face struggles with a creative mindset when things go in unpleasant ways.

​

- I can be a little “irreverent/bold” at times but I’m a truly respectful person at heart, who celebrates differences and gets inspired by experiences shared with others. 

 

- I  appreciate the Amsterdam’s flag, a lot: XXX (Valiant, Determined, Merciful).  

 

- Oh, and yeah! Last but not least…I'm a Mama too! 

 

Why would The Mini Citizen founder leave this tiny tiney detail as last? 

 

Well, easy peasy, because as they teach us on airplanes: 

“Parents or Carers must always put their oxygen mask first" - in order to effectively take care of their children - and this website is my oxygen space to breath…in and out, iiiiiiin aaand oooouuut, iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiin aaand oooooooooouuuut - if you know, you know -.

 

I come here to enjoy a space of silence, slowness, softness and focus, a creative hub where I journal, document and share experiences and good vibes.

 

I hope that you, Lovely Reader, can forget for a moment that I am only a Mini Citizen’s mother, but a Mini Citizen myself as well, as my inner child is always in what I do and in who I am today: a little explorer in search of joyful play in the midst of adulthood.

I wish you could find relaxation and some inspiration through my blog and discover options and connectivness as my  intent is to infuse my dedication to The Mini Citizen's Community.

 - I use any form of art, including writing, to let my feelings flow and squeeze lemonades out of lemons and I believe that self-reflection is to be transformed in self-expression, therefore you will see me working on various artistic projects.
